GRAND TOUR offers you a journey into the typicality and diversity of extra virgin olive oil from nine Italian regions, enclosed in a ceramic casket to enhance and preserve it to the fullest. Nine fine selected, high quality organic oils, in limited and numbered production. A handmade ceramic bottle, a unique piece of Italian design, original in shape and colors, to be reused, exhibited, collected.
From the pressing of Moraiolo, Frantoio and Leccino olives of the hills of the Chianti Classico Fiorentino, one of the most beautiful and suitable areas for olive cultivation, it is an oil with a green and golden yellow color, intense and lively fruity with hints of fresh olive, almond , artichoke and ripe fruit. In the mouth, the delicate bitterness precedes a very marked and persistent spicy and fruity flavor.
Extracted from the "Gentile di Larino", cultivated mainly in the sub-coastal Adriatic belt, among the most widespread cultivars of Molise of ancient origins since the times of the ancient Romans, it has a green color with golden reflections, has a medium fruity with rich notes of cut grass and dried fruit. The taste is harmonious and balanced, with sweet notes and with the right degree of bitter and spicy.
Extract from the autochthonous Bosana, cultivated in the north east of Sardinia, in the balance of natural elements. Slightly veiled, green in color with golden reflections, medium-intense fruity, it gives olfactory sensations of grass with hints of thistle and green tomato. Enveloping, bitter and spicy in excellent balance, with a finish of green almond and aromatic herbs.
MADAME DES URSINES
Produced in the hilly area of the Sabina Reatina, near Rome since the pre-Roman period, as evidenced by the findings of the ancient Roman city of "Cures". The oil has a yellow-green color with golden hues, gives fresh herbaceous aromas, and on the palate it is velvety, fruity, medium spicy and slightly bitter aromatic with strong hints of thistle and chicory.
Obtained from the main cultivars present in the Marche region, where the cultivation of the olive tree and the pressing of the olives in the region has very ancient origins. Characterized by a yellow-green color, the taste has a nice fruity, with fresh herbaceous notes accompanied by a typical hint of grass, almond and artichoke. Appreciable the perfect balance of bitter and spicy.
Mainly from moraiola olive, cultivated in Umbria since the time of the ancient Umbrians and Etruscans on the clayey and calcareous soils of the sunny hills. The "Green Gold of Umbria" shows a beautiful green with golden veins, complex and elegant on the nose, with strong herbaceous hints. On the palate artichoke, bitter notes of unripe almond and a strong and persistent spicy.
DOP IRPINIA COLLINE DELL’UFITA
Obtained with Ravece olives, cultivated almost exclusively on clayey hills rich in volcanic sediments since the 16th century. The green oil with yellow reflections has a high intensity green olive fruitiness, herbaceous fragrances, with green tomato notes, strong but balanced bitter and spicy tones, with a final apple aftertaste and, above all, of artichoke.
OLIO DI PUGLIA IGP
Obtained mainly from Peranzana, Coratina and Ogliarola olives grown in northern Puglia, in a unique climate, it is a green oil with marked golden reflections with evident herbaceous and floral notes, especially of unripe tomatoes. The taste expresses a medium fruity with balanced notes of bitterness which is associated with a strong aftertaste of light spicy and slightly slightly spicy bitterish sensation.
CONTE DI CAGLIOSTRO
Extract from the "Nocellara del Belice", between the provinces of Agrigento, Palermo and Trapani, which constitutes one of the richest Sicilian territories in history, colonized by the Greeks, Phoenicians and Carthaginians. Oil characterized by a medium-intense level of fruity and full-bodied taste, with a balanced combination of bitter and spicy, with prevailing hints of grass and, above all, of green tomato, characteristic of the cultivar.
